• If the user is always going to have access to the internet (when using the application) then HTML 5 may be all you need.
• If the user needs to use the application when connection to the internet may be impossible/impractical then you need a dedicated mobile app.

An App for all environments?

Acumen always makes websites and web applications compatible with as many browsers as possible. This means that we’re covered when it comes to desktop computers, laptops and larger tablets. More and more, however, this isn’t enough and we need to consider smaller mobile devices. In the first instance we have HTML 5 which ensures compatibility with smaller screens. Sometimes even this isn’t enough and what the client needs is a dedicated mobile app - well that’s not a problem either.
